THE HEAT IS ON IN DUNBOYNE.
St. Peter's College's Miss Saigon adds to another year of musical tradition in the school.
This year the school sought entertainment, laughter and tragedy in the school's musical production with a line up of nothing less than seven leads.
With Carla Ryan, Jack Donnelly and Eoin O'Reilly as Kim, Chris and the Engineer, the heat was brought to Dunboyne. Along with Paul Doherty (Thuy), Leanne Bergin (Ellen), Cathal Bailey (John) and Moya Hannigan as Gigi Van Tranh, these young talents didn't fail to meet the bar raised by last year's "Les Misérables".
Filled with comedy, drama and outstanding performances brought to the stage by not only the whole of Transition Year but Miss Morris and director extraordinaire Miss Olohan, Miss Saigon was the new hit, from the trenches in Vietnam to the streets of New York!
Standing ovations from the audience all four nights proved Miss Saigon to be one of the best productions of the school.
Special thanks go to Mr. Payne, Mr. Metcalfe and their teams of 4th and 5th year for making everything possible at the front lines and backstage.
Once again the school has proved that with collective effort anything can be achievable!
